saving the green.

hello hello!
recently I have decided that I need to start saving money, even when spending it. I have been talking to a good friend about her tips and everything, and I have joined a few great sites that will help me along the way. Most sites have great advice, others have coupons that I can print. I have printed a few coupons already and I cannot wait to start using them. My next step is to make a list of everything that I buy frequently and use frequently so that I can really save on those, whenever I see coupons or good deals on that.
I would really like to get organized though. Right now, its scattered. I need to purchase a binder/notebook like thing to keep lists organized. I have notes here and there and coupons here and there. Just have to put it all together. I am such an organized person already, it should not be a problem.
I am really excited about all this, and I hope I can stick with it, because I know it will be well worth it.
I think the hardest part for me will be the stocking up. I read a few articles about how you should stock up on good deals, but I have always been the person that goes by "don't buy it if you don't use it"... so it will be hard. I will do what I can. I know where some great places for great deals, so if I just plan it out, it should be good!! I think another step is to really dig into some recipes and plan those in advance so I can get away from mac n cheese (don't tell Grant I said that).
we are moving soon, which is expensive all in its own, so I really would like to start saving. Our new place will finally be a place that we can calls OURS. I hope to keep it organized. (If Grant will allow for that lol)
It seems to me that I have a lot of ideal images in my mind, but nothing ever works out that way.... shucks.
Anyway, I just wanted to share that excitement... if anyone wants to know about the good deals, and etc, message me or something, or comment. I would love to talk about savings and deals!!
